Amongst all the hulabaloo this past week with the offer to purchase Yahoo by Microsoft, the Advanced Development team has released something fun. Yahoo Live is a video experience that allows users to broadcast from their webcams, chat with viewers and even host 4 video conversations at once with other broadcasters.
What sort of applications can you use this for? For me, I plan on testing this as a component to Video Mojo and even visiting with my family who lives four states away. Yahoo Live could even be used as a group collaboration tool.
Since Live is in it’s infancy there are a few bugs to work out including server space. The first night it was released it failed. I have been testing it since then and I love the user interface.
