I took advantage of CompUsa’s store closing here in Birmingham by purchasing this Flip video camera for 40% off. This camera was designed with me in mind because it is compact, lightweight and has very good video quality. When transferring to your PC it is in an .avi format.
The camera has the very basic shooting needs and no bells or whistles but for the convenience, you won’t miss them. There is an instant playback feature, 2x zoom, cables to plug into your tv with audio/video and a pop-up USB extension. No tapes, memory sticks. There are two models for a 30m hard drive and a full hour drive. Requires 2 AA batteries with about 20 hours of battery life (I suggest rechargeable batteries like I use).
Yes, I have a mobile phone with video, a webcam and a Sony digicamera but this is just too good and easy to use. This one has some video mojo!
